Room Fragrance Spray

The story behind this passion began in the early nineties, when my friends from the North East and North West of Nigeria would burn heartwarming incense every day and fill up the whole space with smoke from very aged and expensive perfumed wood and each home had a signature smell that I could tell where I was even when blindfolded.

It was a delight to look forward to and seemed like a ritual while you sat on the carpet and waited for local tea (‘shai’) to be served.

The interest further deepened, after my first voyage to Dubai in 1996, where almost every space is filled with exotic oud and all sorts of incense.

After that, I got hooked, and it almost became natural to create scents in every space. While incense can not be flamed on the go, room sprays became a convenient substitute” – Wura
